What we do

In Love Notes is a small editorial desk publishing love notes, letters, quotes, and short essays for the people who matter. Every piece is anchored by a stated angle and a named writer; we treat quotes as primary documents, not ornamental filler.

Editorial standards

   Written by hand, not by template

   Every note is drafted by a named writer with a stated angle. We use AI tools to support research and pacing, never to replace editorial judgment. If a piece cannot stand on its own argument, we don't publish it.

2. 02

   Attribution before convenience

   When we quote a source, we check it against a primary edition or a verifiable secondary one. When attribution is contested, we say so. We prefer 'inspired by' over an invented confident attribution.

3. 03

   Dated corrections, not silent edits

   If a factual error is found, we update the note, append a dated correction, and — for material errors — push a follow-up to anyone who linked to the original. Cosmetic edits don't require a note; substantive changes do.

4. 04

   No paid placements in the body

   Sponsored content, pay-for-play link insertions, and undisclosed affiliate relationships are not accepted in the editorial body. When we recommend a product or service, we say what we tested and on what grounds.
